ThinkShield, our comprehensive suite of security solutions, is integral to our laptops. Features like discrete Trusted Platform Module (dTPM) encrypt your data. Human-presence detection works with the IR camera to automatically lock your device when you move away. Plus, Microsoft Pluton and AMD PRO Security deliver real-time, full-system memory encryption via AMD Memory Guard.
Responsibly made with recycled materials
While you’ll love the lightweight chassis, the recycled materials used in this machine are a real gem. The ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 laptop is composed of 90% recycled magnesium on the keyboard frame for the Deep Black models and 22% carbon fiber on the top cover. For the Storm Grey models, the top cover and keyboard frame include 50% recycled aluminum. Both models boast 55% recycled aluminum on the bottom cover, recycled plastic enclosures for the speaker, battery, and AC adapter, plus packaging made from 90% recycled and/or sustainable materials.
